９月７日(火) 悪天候の場合のお迎え ／ 呼吸と健康について
本日は、午前中は晴れ間の出る比較的よいお天気でしたが、お昼過ぎ１２時３０分頃、京都府南部に暴風警報が発令されました。１学期にお出ししました「お知らせ３１」にあります“悪天候の場合の保育”により、早速お子さんをお迎えに来られた保護者の方もいらっしゃいました。お山の上から空の様子を見ますと、そのまましばらくの間は、遠くの空も明るく天候が急変する様子は見られませんでしたので、通常の降園時間でのお帰りとなりました。お山の下や通園路途上でお子さんをお迎え下さったり、お尋ねのお電話もいただきました。お陰様で今日は無事、天候の変化が訪れない内に、各グループが最終地点まで到着しました。
今後、日中の保育時間中に大雨，暴風，大雪など気象に関する注意報・警報が発令され、その上天候も急変してきた場合には、「お知らせ３１」の④の項目の通り、 『・・・、電話連絡は行いませんが、降園１時間前になっても警報が解除されなければ園まで個別にお迎えをお願いします。』の要領で、お子さんの各お部屋まで保護者のお迎えをお願いしたいと存じます。
今日は、「山の学校 しぜんクラス」も台風のため、お休みの連絡をご家庭にいたしました。
現在午後７時、だいぶ風が強くなり、窓の外の竹やぶが大きくゆれています。低気圧や台風が近づくと、体調に変化が起こる方が小さな子どもも含めてあるようです。人によっては喘息が出てきたり、治癒したはずの傷跡が痛むことがあるかも知れません。呼吸のペースが不規則になり、浅い呼吸になるかも知れません。体のバランスは、この呼吸により影響を受けていることが多分にあって、ストレスがあったり体に疲れを感じたときには、背筋を伸ばし、鼻から深く息を吸って、そのまま何秒か止め(気持ちがよいくらい)、しずかに少しずつすべて吐き出す－－－と、すっきりしたバランスのとれた状態になります。呼吸は自律神経に働きかけ、感情や気分と深く結びついているそうです。
私の場合は、なるべく、一度に２セット(あまり続けるとしんどくなります)、一日に３０回を目標に深呼吸を取り入れています。生命は、この呼吸に支配されるところが大きく、生まれるときに最初の息を吐き、死ぬときに最後の息を吸うそうです。水や食事が欠けてもすぐに生命には問題ありませんが、呼吸ができなけば数分しか生きられないという現実は、人間の命にとって呼吸がいかに大切かを知ることができます。体調によっては吸うのもつらいときがあります。そんな時には、まず、吐くことを考える、吐くことにより、精神状態もいくぶん落ち着いてきます。そうして吐くと、また体には自然と新鮮な空気が満ちてきます。
子どもの場合も、怒られて育つとストレスにより呼吸が浅くなり、逆に楽しくリラックスしているときはゆったりと深い呼吸をしているようです。私たちも、ストレスで息をつめることが多くなると、それが習慣化して自然と呼吸が浅くなるようです。新鮮な酸素も体のすみずみを巡らなくなりますね。そうすると、いろんな障害が出てくることにもなりかねません。生きていく上でとても大切な私たちの「呼吸」について今一度、考えてみたいものです。
